On 4 September 2017, the universities opened the new academic year. This festive day not only marked a new period for students and scientists, universities also presented new ambitions. This year, the universities launched their joint plans in the field of digitisation in education. As a result, the Netherlands could become a global pioneer in the area of digital technologies in higher education.
