University of Amsterdam political communications chair Claes de Vreese talked to PBS on misinformation, democracy and digital media landscapes in Europe and the United States. De Vreese is a researcher on the Citizenship & Democracy programme line. “We live in an era of information-polution; there is a lot of information out there but it’s very hard to verify all of it in a quick manner”, argues de Vreese.
